Total area of the track and field arena is 8979 square meters. Arena has tracks with curves corresponding to the demands of IAAF, 60m sprint line, sectors for high jump, long jump and pole-vaulting, tennis pitch, sectors for discus and javelin-throwing. Every day different representatives from Ventspils sports clubs and students from sports school “Spars” are practicing in arena. Arena also holds local and state importance track and field competitions. Track and field arena is also suitable for exhibitions.
